Potential health benefits of neem
Apart from Ayurveda, many scientific researches are going on regarding Neem in which it is being seen what and how benefits we can get from Neem. Neem is not a new thing for those who have great faith in Ayurveda. So let us know about some special benefits of Neem:-

Promotes hair health

Neem seed extract contains azadirachtin, an active compound that may fight parasites that affect the hair and skin, such as lice. Azadirachtin works by inhibiting parasite growth and interfering with reproduction and other cellular processes, thereby getting rid of head lice and other parasites.

In India, Neem oil is widely used to get rid of head lice or any other parasite and the home remedy of washing hair with Neem water is adopted for children. Wash the always bleeding wound thoroughly with the decoction of neem leaves. After this, fill Neem bark ash in it. The wound heals completely in 7-8 days.

Mix 10 grams of neem kernel and 20 grams of beeswax in 100 grams of oil and cook. When both mix well, remove from flame and add 10 grams of resin powder and stir well. This ointment is beneficial for burns and other wounds.

Applying Neem oil on the area burnt by fire provides quick relief. This also calms the burning sensation.

Rapid improvement in fever.

According to some Ayurvedic studies, if you are struggling with fever, then you can easily get rid of fever with the help of the following measures: –

First of all, mix 20-20 grams of Neem, Tulsi and Hurhur leaves, Giloy and six grams of black pepper. Grind it finely and mix it with water and make a tablet of two and a half grams each. Consume these ready tablets one by one with warm water at an interval of 2 hours, the fever will be cured soon.

Make a powder by mixing 5 grams of Neem bark and half a gram of clove or cinnamon. Taking it in the quantity of two grams with water in the morning and evening cures common viral fever, short-term typhoid fever and blood disorders.

Making a decoction of neem bark, coriander, red sandalwood, padma kashtha, giloy and dry ginger and consuming it in quantity of 10-30 ml is beneficial in all types of fever.

Take equal parts of neem bark, dry ginger, pipal root, myrobalan, kutki and amaltas. Cook it in one liter of water until one-eighth part is left. Consume this decoction in 10-20 ml quantity in the morning and evening. The fever will end.

Mix equal parts of Neem bark, Munakka and Giloy. Making a decoction in 100 ml of water and giving it in quantity of 20 ml in the morning, afternoon and evening provides relief in fever.

In some studies conducted on Neem, it was found that special elements are found in its leaves, which accelerate the process of insulin formation. Consuming 20 ml of Neem leaf juice and Adusa leaf juice mixed with honey twice a day purifies the blood.

Crush neem almanac in water and give it to the patient in quantity of 10-10 ml at an interval of 15-15 minutes. Along with this, tying a poultice (wet bandage) of its leaves on the nodes of plague and continuously fumigating it around is beneficial in plague.

When taken by mouth: Neem bark extract is POSSIBLY SAFE for most adults when used short term. Doses up to 60 mg daily have been used safely for up to 10 weeks. Neem is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth in large amounts or for a long period of time. It can damage kidneys and liver.

When applied to the skin: Neem oil or cream is probably safe when applied to the skin for up to 2 weeks.

When applied inside the mouth: Neem leaf extract gel is POSSIBLY SAFE when applied inside the mouth for up to 6 weeks.

Pregnancy: Neem oil and neem bark may be unsafe when taken by mouth during pregnancy. They can cause miscarriage.

Breast-feeding: There is not enough reliable information to know if neem is safe to use while breastfeeding. Be on the safe side and avoid use.

Children: Neem extract shampoo is POSSIBLY SAFE for children when applied once or twice daily to the scalp for 10 minutes, then rinsed out with warm water. Taking neem seeds and seed oil by mouth is LIKELY UNSAFE in children. Serious side effects can occur in infants and young children within a few hours of taking neem oil. These serious side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, seizures, loss of consciousness, coma, and death.
